Privacy, in plain words

We collect as little as we need to teach more children and to thank the people who make that possible. We never sell or rent your information.

What we collect

• What you type into our forms: your name and email, and anything else you choose to share when you volunteer or ask about a partnership.
• Gift details: when you give through PayPal, PayPal tells us your name, email, amount and designation so we can send your receipt. We never see or store card or bank numbers. Zeffy (for card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay gifts), GlobalGiving, and your bank (for Zelle) handle those payments under their own privacy policies, and tell us only what we need to thank and receipt you.
• How visitors use the site: with Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel we count visits, see which pages and buttons are used, and learn which posts or community partners bring people here. These tools use cookies.

How we use it

• To send receipts, the class link or reminder you asked for, and occasional impact updates.
• To reply to volunteers and partners.
• To improve the site and to show NEIEA posts to people who have already visited us.

Your choices

• Every email has an unsubscribe option, or write to us and we'll remove you.
• Ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
• If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site doesn't load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel at all.
• You can also opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and your Meta ad preferences.

Who sees it

Only the NEIEA USA team and the services that help us run this site (Google, Meta, Zeffy, PayPal, GlobalGiving, and our email provider). We don't share donor lists with anyone.
